"Hi Beth"
Type: Class A
This voice was captured while running video at Rolling Hills Country Mall. The two S.P.I.R.I.T. members were closing up at the end of the night, and had just finished a walk through of the empty buildings and were returning to the office to pack up the equipment and call it a night.
At the head of the first floor, East Wing (formerly called the "Bull Pen" by the employees of the county home, referring to the men's dormitory that was located on that floor of the wing of the home that was built in the late 1950's) the investigators split up briefly, as the male investigator stopped for a moment in the main hall. The female investigator, still filming, stopped after a few steps down the hall of the Bull Pen. She had heard something whispered near her ear, and noted the fact aloud in order to mark the tape for specific review later.
As the male investigator in the main building calls out to find the first investigator, a female voice distinctly says "Hi Beth".
The EVP is quite eerie due to the fact that the female investigator's name was, indeed, Beth, which is not the name she is known or goes by, and due to the fact that she was quite alone in the hallway at the time, (as evidenced in the video itself.) Also of note is the fact that the investigator had initially paused because she heard something near her ear, which was not recorded on the video tape.
